Comfort for Christmas

What we do:

Comfort for Christmas is a non-profit mission-driven organization serving aging adults in Austin, Texas. Founded by Emily York, BSN, RN, older adult advocate, and inspired by Alisa Barnes, Gayle Morris, and Erin Newman.



Our goal:

Our goal is to provide a  blanket for each older adult living in a nursing facility accepting Medicaid. Our blankets are brand new and wrapped in “you are loved” packaging.

 

How you can help:

Volunteers help purchase, wrap, drive routes, and deliver blankets.
